Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), is an effective format for Catholic religious education for children. CGS utilizes the Montessori Method of education to unleash the potential of a child so that they may learn responsibility, independence, and a personal desire to learn about our Catholic faith.
Faith Formation
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd guides a child to discover God on their own while they grow in prayer and knowledge of Jesus Christ and His Church.
We are excited to offer CGS to young students at Our Lady of Grace beginning in 2025!

Elementary Religious Education (ERE)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church K -5th grade students are supported by dedicated catechists that will guide them through a spiral Catholic curriculum. The students will begin to learn about how God made them, and how God made the world. Further fundamental themes include what we believe, the ten commandments and the structure of the liturgy of the Mass.
