I'm sending this email to give you a heads up about some important changes that will be taking place in the near future regarding the distribution of communion at mass.
We will have training dates on Saturday May 17th at 10:30am or Monday May 19th about 7:20pm. (After Evening Prayer) New ministers in training will also attend these sessions so some of the information you will hear will be things YOU already know. But it never hurts to have a refresher - a validation of what you know. :-)
Both sessions will be held in church. It's vitally important that you plan to attend one of these two sessions.
AND....please invite people to this important ministry and bring them with you. We really need additional ministers at both the 5:30pm masses and at the 7:30am masses and we all know a personal invitation is the best!

P.S. At these sessions, I will also plan to complete the list of communion ministers that will go to the Bishop's office before the commissioning on June 22.
