My name is Lynn McKinney, and I’m the parish accountant. I became a member of Our Lady of Grace in November 2001 and joined the staff shortly thereafter in February 2002. My family consists of my two grown children, Adam and April, along with their children, i.e. my 3 grandchildren. Sharing my home is my youngest child, my rambunctious Wheaten Terrier, Tucker.
In addition to my day job here at OLG, I am an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, sing with the Annunciation Choir, occasionally ministering as cantor; a member of the Liturgy Council, and actively serve in Art & Environment. I am one of 3 wedding coordinators; am a team 2 member for Monthly Graced Meals; participate as a facilitator for Financial Peace University; and, as an extension of my professional role at OLG, attend Finance Council meetings.
Becoming a part of the staff here at Our Lady of Grace was a dream realized. Upon entering the
sanctuary for the first time, I thought, “wouldn’t it be awesome to work in a place like this?” My circle of friends has always been comprised of my Church family, and now I am also privileged to work with them as well! Our Parish staff works hard, collaborates well, and has a lot of fun, all while serving God and His people. What more could a person want?
Our Lady of Grace has held a special place in my heart since the first Mass I attended here. Welcomed with open arms by everyone that day, I’ve felt at home here ever since. It is a wonderful place to grow spiritually, participate in meaningful liturgy, experience fellowship with young and old, and a great place to be employed!
