I am from Venezuela. I came to Indiana in 2019 and started attending Our Lady of Grace. In 2021, I was hired as the Coordinator of the Hispanic Ministry.
I grew up in a missionary Catholic family, where the church was the foundation of our daily life. I am a wife and mother of three wonderful children, Sara, Andres and Lucas. My university studies were in the area of health; I am a Nutritionist and a Dietitian. But I am very grateful to be involved and participate in the mission of the parish.
I love sharing with the Spanish-speaking community. There is a diversity of families in our parish, with many customs and a fervent faith, especially towards our Blessed Mother the Virgin Mary. It is an immeasurable gift, being able to be all together living the same faith. We can see how the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled: I come to gather all the nations, they will come and see my Glory.
